In the sector of E-7 Islamabad there is a very modern arrangement of spaces and forms designed by a local architectural firm named Montage Design build. This 1000sq-yd house is constructed on very bold new fashion which is generally not common in local residential architecture, yet it maintains the traditional family values of Pakistan.The location of the house is adjacent to margalla hills which give a very serene and splendid view from its terrace.

Summers, Load shedding of electricity and Overloads Dhol Baje Ga.
I remember when i was preparing to get into some university some 4 years back SAT was the only thing that met the mind completely in that complicated situation. All that made sense was analytics and complex English words. Today i face some serious complication again which are similar to those but different in dynamics.
Job situation is bad as the country although fiscal situation seems to be getting better is sinking into a perpetual recession, Summers hit us bad with temperatures reaching record levels in Karachi for the month of March ( Already 42 degrees) and load shedding is going to a part of our daily routine again. Rather i would say electricity is something that has left our lives leaving us in the darks of a summer night. In this situation were hope seems to be leaving the current generation i beg to differ and feel that its darkest before Dawn so the worst has hit us and we can expect something better from our future. One song that seems to hit this situation in the best way possible and match completely with the feelings of the normal man who still seems to stay strong and hope for the best is Overloads – Dhol bjae ga, i personally think it should be the theme song of our government try to extract some happiness out of us eh . Listen to it and share your thoughts i seem to get happy and upbeat while listening to it.

Bahria Icon tower:Upcoming Multi-use commercial Building project By Bahria Town

Going through the list of upcoming projects in karachi which is the mega city of Pakistan , another mixed use commercial project by Bahria town is in the pipeline and it is Bahria Icon tower. The project was initiated in 2008 after the approval of KBCA and the excavation ,creation of haul routes and foundation works have been undertaken. It is expected to be completed by the end of 2013.
here are some of the initial proposed renders of the tower which later got discarded . But i like to share it .The website and the billboard at the construction site shows different renders

Guest House or Sunehre din, Alpha Bravo Charlie or Dhuwan these are all the Dramas that Media deprived Pakistanis of the 90s were hooked on to. A Pakistan that had just opened its eyes after the long rule of Gen Zia, looking for entertainment had the best of his/her time with these Classic PTV Drama series which were the epitome of Drama making and the holy nectar of creativity.
With all the development and the media infiltration and commercialization of this industry good drama making has more or less died and disappeared. But Pakistanica Tv is keeping the electric pulse of those times running wild on the net. All you need to do to indulge in those old days and get a dose of Nostalgic memories is to sit back, relax, fire up your browser and watch em on Pakistanica. We hope the developers keep it running and updating cause it is one great step taken to keep the heritage alive and show the Directors of today what real Drama is.

Today while i was going through one of my favorite websites i.e. ProPakistani i discovered a post about Musharraf and how he was focused on in connector of the day program by CNN. Before starting the debate about how the old days were better and i start yakking of any political stuff i think i should get to the point.

Nando’s Peri Peri Chicken to Reach Islamabad Soon.

Mr skittles who basically is a corporate spy has started working for Cyberdera to figure out what these Corporate entities are up to. On his latest trip when he was out looking for some cheap Desi kukarh, murghi or chicken (Bird Flu infested) whatever you call it. He discovered something. Yes that chili or Jalapeno whatever you consider it to be is the welcoming of Peri Peri chicken into Islamabad. The only thing or type of food that had been left out was extra hot well cooked chicken and now Islooites can well enjoy themselves in their own hometown with this special food.
In this picture if you can see that chili or Jalapeno and if you have been to Nandos before you’ll know just by the Look that this underconstruction building is the home for the next Nandos that will open up in Islamabad.
Mr Skittles just cant wait. He is getting some cold water ready to cool his throat and tongue down once hes done with it.
Nandos is known for their bold advertisement and they have taken on many figures which include Afridi in australia (Pakistan Cricket) lets wait and see who gets the Nandos treatment in Islamabad. Till then we always have all the great cafes and hangout, Do try jungle spot on a cold winter night, its fun trust me.

Fastest Woman in South Asia is a Pakistani ( Naseem: SAF Games )
Pakistan’s Naseem has become the fastest Girl / Woman in South Asia by winning a gold in the 100 meter Race of the South Asian Games. According to Dawn the 22 year old sprintser came in 1st with 11.81 sec while Sri Lanka’s Pramila Priyadarshani 2nd with a lapse of 0.12 seconds. Phew close it was.
Trained by Coach Maqsood Ahmed; Naseem Akhtar says that “I had forgotten the world for six months and trained really very, very hard under my coach Maqood Ahmed to achieve this” .
She was wearing National Green tights and fully dressed in shade of Green it made us Remember Aalim Onlines statement about Green stuff and how it effected Cricket. Well she is doing well with Green and God bless her we expect much more from her in the coming events.
Naseem is the first Pakistani to achieve this colossal victory after 25 years in SAF games.

Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) Chief Lt.Gen (Rtd) Syed Arif Hasan congratulated Naseem for her historic performance and announced a one-lakh-rupee (Rs.100,000) cash prize for her remarkable achievement.

THE RAIN IS BACK, WHERE HAD IT BEEN.
I study in Karachi but i am from Islamabad, Karachi is mostly facing a dry spell and all of us travelers or pardesi as many would call us love rain. Karachi means if you see rain it will be heavy and then you’ll see people praying for it to stop. The infrastructure is so that water stands all around hampering daily life. I love that situation where people are helplessly wading around and its wet and happy but thanks to the thankless people they start praying for rain to stop. Rain also has a heart you know she never comes back after that been a year that i hadn’t seen rain in Karachi.

Installation of Big Plasma Screens on busy roads in Islamabad can be dangerous.
Recently in Islamabad and Rawalpindi we have seen that many Big Plasma screen are being isntalled on some highly busy roads and crossings which can cause serious kind of mishap . These large screens are installed at places like Chowk in front of Fatima Jinnah Park or F-10 markaz chowk and at the building of Islamabad Stock exchange in Blue area and Kutcheri Chowk Rawalpindi . These large screen catches the attention of the driver with attractive look and sensational advertisements .
